Earlier, the adviser, along with the senior police officials, visited the ongoing special activities of the law-enforcing agencies undertaken for strengthening people's security in different areas of the city.
It will not be tolerated under any circumstances if anyone attempts to jeopardize people's security during the country's crisis, whether through political unrest or criminal activities, he said, expressing hope that the situation will improve soon.
Over the law and order situation, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali said, "We have started a massive crackdown. The drive is being carried out through enlisting the identified criminals. A total of 65 check posts have been set up across the capital."
Mentioning that the incidence of snatching also took place in the past, the DMP Commissioner stated that those snatching incidences were not circulated, and people nowadays make videos instead of resisting criminal activities.
