Shah Rukh Khan and his family are set to move out of their iconic Mumbai bungalow, Mannat, later this year for a major renovation that will take up to two years. The Grade III heritage structure will undergo an extensive renovation, including a long-proposed extension, which required court approval.
During the renovation, the Khans will relocate to a luxury apartment building in Bandra's Pali Hill area, leasing four floors from film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s family for ₹24 lakh per month. The new space, though smaller than Mannat, will accommodate the family, their security, staff, and office space.
Shah Rukh, his wife Gauri, and children Aryan, Suhana, and Abram will stay in duplex apartments on the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of the building for three years. Sources say the actor’s team is ensuring the safety and privacy of the family in the new residence.
The move is temporary, as the renovation of Mannat is expected to take up to two years.
