BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has stated that if the interim government prioritizes other matters over elections, it will not be acceptable.

He made this statement on Saturday at a roundtable meeting held at Agargaon

“The main task(of the Interim Government) is arranging the election. If the government focuses on other stuff instead of this(arranging the election), it will not be acceptable,” said Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

He also reminded the government that it is their responsibility to hold a free and fair election in which all democratic parties can participate.

“It is the duty of the government to arrange a free and fair election in order  to protect democracy,” said the veteran BNP politician.
