Dhaka has sent necessary documents to Delhi to repatriate fallen fascist Sheikh Hasina under the prisoner exchange agreement.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Rafiqul Alam confirmed this information in a briefing on Thursday afternoon.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this in the weekly briefing of the Ministry that Dhaka has sent necessary documents to Delhi to bring back Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh is waiting for India’s reply. All necessary documents have been sent along with the diplomatic letter.
Rafiqul Alam said, “Bangladesh will wait politically and diplomatically on the Sheikh Hasina issue. Besides, whether international norms will be followed in repatriation of other AL leaders who are in India is a matter of high-level discussions of the government.”
At the same time, he thanked the UN Human Rights Commission for its report on the July mass uprising.
