BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the stability of the country is being destroyed, instability is being created and Hasina's fascist regime is completely responsible for this.
He said this while talking to reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka after returning home after a visit to the United States on Sunday.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “We have to tread carefully. To be successful, we have to move forward slowly. We have to dispel darkness with light. We have to move forward by lighting the beacon.
He welcomed the decision to launch the ongoing nationwide 'Operation Devil Hunt' to curb instability in the country.
The BNP secretary general said, “The students and people of Bangladesh have achieved success through the uprising by overthrowing the fascist Hasina government. We should not fall into Hasina's trap. I would like to make this call to everyone. I would like to call upon to everyone to unite and continue working to protect the country's independence and sovereignty, for stability, and to establish democracy against fascists.”
He said that the US visit was successful.
When asked about Khaleda Zia's physical condition, the BNP secretary general said, "Madam is fine. Treatment is underway."
