Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General, Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, said that no concessions will be made on the uneven agreements or any border-related issues with India.
He made the remark during a press conference today (January 29) at the Ministry of Home Affairs' conference room at the Secretariat.
"I have urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the uneven agreements with India. These matters will be resolved through diplomatic channels. We will make no concessions on our part, especially on issues where we believe we have been deprived," DG said.
"Before attending the border conference with India, we will meet with the press. You will receive specific information there. Border killings will be one of the key agenda of the conference. Additionally, tensions along the Chapainawabganj border and issues related to the demarcation of various rivers with India will also be prioritized. In short, no concessions will be made on any matter," he added.
