The medical report of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment in London, will be known by Friday afternoon.
According to the source, the results of all the medical tests of the last two days will be available by Friday afternoon. After that, a medical team consisting of doctors from Bangladesh and British doctors led by Dr. Patrick Kennedy will examine everything and decide the next step in Khaleda Zia's treatment.
Her personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, who is with the BNP Chairperson, said that the doctors in London have tried to find out all the complications of Khaleda Zia from the doctors in Bangladesh. Accordingly, a joint decision has been taken for some tests.
Three-time former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various physical ailments including liver cirrhosis, kidney, heart, diabetes deseases, and arthritis for a long time. Khaleda Zia left for London on a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar last Tuesday night for advanced treatment. She arrived at London's Heathrow Airport on Wednesday morning local time and is undergoing treatment under Professor John Patrick Kennedy of The London Clinic.
