BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has left for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka to travel to London for advanced medical treatment.
She departed from her Gulshan residence, ‘Firoza,’ at 8:15 PM on Tuesday night.
Khaleda Zia is scheduled to leave Dhaka at 10 PM aboard a royal ‘air ambulance’ sent by the Ameer of Qatar. She will first travel to Doha International Airport in Qatar and then proceed to London.
BNP Chairperson’s personal physician and party Standing Committee member, AZM Zahid Hossain, stated that Khaleda Zia will be admitted to the ‘London Clinic.’ She will go directly to the hospital from the airport, where doctors will conduct tests and examinations. Further decisions will be made based on their recommendations.
