BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called on India to stop border killings, saying that the BNP has always made this demand.
"Border killings can never be accepted," he made the remark while responding to reporters' questions at Osmani International Airport during his visit to Sylhet on Wednesday evening, reports BSS.
He also said, "It is the responsibility of all of us to build a fascism-free country anew. BNP is working to re-establish democracy in the country."
BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Central Member Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qayum Chowdhury, Sylhet City BNP President Rezaul Hasan Qayes Lodi, District BNP General Secretary Advocate Emran Ahmed Chowdhury, and Sylhet City BNP General Secretary Emdad Hussain Chowdhury were present at the time.
