BNP central leader and former minister M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said former Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque should be arrested and brought to justice.
“Khairul Haque gave the verdict to abolish the caretaker government to please Sheikh Hasina in the hope of getting better opportunities and promotion in retirement. Influenced by Sheikh Hasina's words, he fraudulently changed the summary verdict given on May 10, 2011 and illegally abolished the caretaker government system on September 16, 2012 and published the full verdict,” he said.
The BNP senior leader also said the Awami League was able to commit so much terrorism and anarchy in the country only because of the abolition of the caretaker government system. The Awami League became fascist and committed genocide to remain in power of the country. Therefore, Justice Khairul Haque is equally responsible for all the crimes committed by the Awami League. So, it’s the demand of the time to arrest him and bring to justice.”
Dulu made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a public rally organized by BNP in Naldanga Upazila of Natore on Tuesday afternoon.
At the rally, Dulu also said, “Awami League wants to make our beloved motherland unstable. They want to fish in troubled waters by creating unrest in the country. Although no leader or activist of the fascist Awami League and its affiliated organizations has been seen in the country since August 5, they are active on Facebook. They are secretly involved in trying to unsettle the country by spreading false propaganda on Facebook. Anti-national false propaganda is being spread regularly every day from the official party Facebook page of the central Awami League. It is important for all the ministries concerned in the government to take strict action against all these propagandas.”
