BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said no reformation will be meaningful without people's participation and reformation must be done through a parliamentary system.
“For this reason election is needed,” he asserted.
He made the remarks today (November 9) while speaking at the ‘Bangladesh Youth Parliament-2024’ held at the Supreme Court Bhaban as the chief guest.
Urging the youths to be patient, the BNP secretary general said, “The interim government has done a lot of work in three months. It should give more time. The interim government formed many commissions for reformation and took the initiative to bring the fascists to justice. We must not miss this opportunity.”
Fakhrul said, "Fascists are getting the opportunity to hatch conspiracy due to various negative words. Some media are promoting it. This practice must be stopped. The experience of the elderly and the strength and courage of the youth should be used for the betterment of the country.
Mentioning that many media don’t see the success of the interim government, he called upon the youths to become patients.
