AL leader Amir Hossain Amu arrested

AL leader Amir Hossain Amu arrested

Awami League (AL) Advisory Council Member and former minister Amir Hossain Amu was arrested from the city's Pashchim Dhanmondi on Wednesday.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Detective) Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the arrest.

According to Rezaul Karim Mallik, Amir Hossain Amu is accused in multiple murder cases.  

The remand plea of Amu will be sought after showing arrest in a case, he added.
