Hasib Al Islam, the coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has been issued a show-cause notice for his comment, “The revolution would not have been achieved so easily without setting fire to the metro rail or killing the police.”
This information was disclosed on Sunday through a statement signed by Abdul Hannan Masud, the chief organizer of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
According to the statement, Hasib Al Islam made controversial remarks about setting fire to the metro rail and police during a talk show on a private television channel, which were met with widespread criticism on social media.
The statement also mentioned that Hasib Al Islam must provide a logical explanation for his controversial comments within the next three working days.
