Warning that no conspiracy of the conspirators will be realized anymore, Jamaat-e Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman said the killers and looters of the past can’t save themselves by escaping the country.
He said this in a view exchange meeting with the family members of the martyrs who died in the anti-fascist movement took place from October 28,2006 to August 5, 2024.
Dhaka Metropolitan North Jamaat-e-Islami organized a day-long exchange meeting at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Sunday.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer dreams of building a youth-based non-discrimination and new humane Bangladesh to make the August 5 student revolution fruitful and meaningful.
He assured that the Jamaat will work in solidarity with the dream of the martyrs for fulfilling this purpose and also demanded that at least one person from each martyr's family should get a government job who died in July-August movement.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "On October 28, 2006, Bangladesh lost its way in the rampage of Awami League, the mastermind of fascism. That day, not only Bangladesh, the whole world was shocked. Such violence is possible only through barbaric animals. The murders were committed that day out of an unbridled lust for power. The nation who lost its track has been fighting fought since 2006 and got freed on August 5, 2024 due to the sacrifice of many lives.”
