Outsourcing workers block Shahbagh for job nationalisation

Outsourced employees from government institutions blocked the Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka on Saturday morning, demanding the nationalization of their jobs.

Several hundred workers assembled at Shahbagh around 10:00 AM, disrupting traffic in the nearby areas.

Many passengers were seen getting off the buses and started walking to reach their destinations, witnesses said.

A protester said "Our one-point demand is nationalisation of our jobs. We will continue our protest until our demand is met."
