The state-run Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling essential commodities at subsidized prices across the country from Sunday for the month of September, reports BSS.
Under such move, rice at subsidized prices alongside lentil and edible oil will be sold among some one crore family card holders by the TCB dealers from their shops or permanent structures in cooperation with the concerned city corporations, district and upazila administrations in certain date and time.
Each family card holder will be able to buy maximum two litres of edible oil at Taka 100 per litre, two kilograms of lentil at Taka 60 per kg and five-kg of rice at Taka 30 per kg.
