Squadron Leader Muhammad Asim Jawad was laid to eternal rest with state honours at his home district in Manikganj after Juma prayer on Friday, reports Daily Sun.
He was buried at the city's Seota cemetery after offering the third namaj-e-janaza.

On Thursday, the training aircraft took off from the BAF Base Zahurul Haque in Chattogram around 10:25am as part of regular training. It met the accident due to technical glitches while it was returning to the base after the training session.
