Dacoity at Laxmipur, jewellery owner injured

A sensational dacoity was committed at a jewellery shop in Laxmipur district under Chattogram division Wednesday night.

Sources said criminals entered RK Jewellers at Laxmipur at 8 pm and took away gold ornaments, reports Daily Sun.

Apart from exploding cocktails, the dacoits chopped jewellery owner Apu Karmakar leaving him critically injured.

After primary treatment, he was referred to Dhaka.
