A light rain falls in Dhaka on Wednesday noon and afternoon has offered residents of the city some relief from the scorching heat, and brought hassle for street vendors, passers-by and commuters at the same time.
Many were seen walking due to shortage of vehicles during the rain.
The Met office recorded one millimeter of rainfall till 12 pm, said meteorologist Mohammad Abul Kalam Mallik.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate elsewhere over the north Bay.
