Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid on Wednesday urged mass protests against Netanyahu’s government, reports Al Jazeera.
Israel’s opposition leader and former prime minister Yair Lapid has called on the public to rally against the government of PM Netanyahu, accusing it of having “no red lines” after resuming war in Gaza.
The entire nation must “come together and say: ‘Enough!'”, wrote Lapid in a post on X.
“I’m calling on all of you – this is our moment, this is our future, this is our country. Take to the streets!” he added.
Yesterday, Lapid pressed for Netanyahu’s resignation, saying Israel had “lost confidence in him”.
Breaking the ceasefire agreement, Israel has attacked on Palestinians and killed more than 400 people including children and women on Tuesday.
