Hamas hasn’t given ‘status of hostages’: Israel

Israel claims that Gaza based Hamas group has so far not provided the status of the 34 captives the group has declared it is ready to release in the first phase of a potential exchange deal, reports Al Jazeera.

“As yet, Israel has not received any confirmation or comment by Hamas regarding the status of the hostages appearing on the list,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.

Hamas has told news agencies it has given a list of 34 captives the group was ready to free in the first phase of a potential deal.
