Vikram Doraiswami next Indian High Commissioner to UK

India has officially appointed Vikram Kumar Doraiswami as the next High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK).

Vikram Doraiswami (IFS: 1992), currently performing his duty as the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh.

He is expected to take up the new assignment shortly, said a media statement by the Ministry of External Affairs of India on Tuesday.

Before his duty in Bangladesh, Doraiswami was an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
