Expatriate Bangladeshis have sent $1.63 billion in remittances in the first 21 days of September. Which is BDT 19 thousand 610 crore 76 lakh taka. As such, an average of 77.8 million dollars of remittance is received every day.
Bangladesh Bank revealed this report on Sunday.
According to the report, Bangladesh received $1.63 billion remittances in the first 21 days of September which was $1.5 billion in August. Accordingly, the remittance flow has increased in the current month.
Of the received remittance, 48.7 crore 50 thousand US dollars came through state-owned banks while 6 crore 98 lakh 30 thousand US dollars through specialized banks, 107 crore 96 lakh 10 thousand dollars through private banks and 4 million 30 thousand dollars through foreign banks.
