BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the history of the Awami League is a history of ‘burying itself’. Sheikh Mujib once buried it(Awami League’s politics) by establishing BAKSAL. In 2024, his daughter, Sheikh Hasina, has done the same thing.
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a rally organized by the Cox’s Bazar district BNP on Monday afternoon.
Calling Sheikh Hasina the worst murderer in history, he said, “The political death of the Awami League has already occurred, and its burial took place in Delhi. From her ‘grave’ in Delhi, Hasina occasionally peeks out as if she is trying to say something. Politics in the name of the Awami League is no longer permissible in this country.”
Addressing Awami League leaders and activists, he urged them to forget about their party.
Salahuddin further stated, “The UN report has proven that Hasina is a global murderer. Hasina and her ministers have ordered mass killings".
Addressing the Chief Adviser, he said, "If your intentions are clear, then announce the election roadmap as soon as possible to prove your goodwill."
Addressing other advisers, he said, “Listen to the people and reduce commodity prices. Do not go against the people. In the judiciary, law enforcement, and every sector, Hasina's accomplices are still trying to create unrest.”
