Indian python rescued in Gazaria, Munshiganj

A large Indian python was rescued from a fisherman’s net in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj district on Wednesday, reports BSS.

The python was found in a wetland behind Miajibari in the Puran Baushia Dakhinpara area of the upazila. Local people managed to safely place the snake in a sack and reported the incident to forest officials.

Following the news spreading on Facebook, a large crowd gathered at Miajibari to see the python.
