A total of 119 cases were filed against vehicles on the capital’s 300 Feet Road for various violations. Additionally, fines totaling Tk270, 800 were collected.
Law enforcement agencies filed the cases and collected the fines in a joint operation on the capital’s 300 Feet Road.
This information was disclosed in a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday night.
According to the ISPR, on 1 November, a checkpoint was set up on the 300 Feet Highway in the capital by Uttara Army Camp, traffic police, and Khilkhet police to address issues such as illegal parking, unlicensed drivers, unfit vehicles, speeding, motorcyclists without helmets, and drivers with illegal licenses.
Additionally, four vehicles were seized, and a case is pending at Khilkhet police station against one individual for carrying narcotics, as reported by ISPR.
