Sheffield United acknowledged Hamza Choudhury's selection for the Bangladesh national team on social media on Friday.
Hamza along with six other Sheffield United players - also known as Blades - will represent their respective countries in the ongoing international break.
Hamza has been called up to the Bangladesh team for the first time for the match AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers final round match against India which will take place on 25 March in Shillong.
"Several of United's senior players have been chosen to represent their countries this month," the social media post read with a feature photo of Hamza.
"Leicester City loanee Hamza Choudhury is currently in Bangladesh as they prepare to face Indian in an Asian Cup qualifier next week, with the game set to be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong," the press release read.
Hamza, along with his Bangladesh teammates have reached Shilong for the game on the 25th and will have their first training session on Friday.
