A FB page named "Bangladesh National Football Team," managed by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), where it had been posting updates related to the national team in recent months, has been hacked by cybercriminals.
On Sunday afternoon, BFF Media Department issued an official statement regarding the hacking incident.
BFF is actively working to recover the hacked page and has apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused.
This is not the first such incident, as the BFF's official website was also hacked several years ago. The latest attack on the national football team's FB page underscores persistent vulnerabilities in the Federation's IT security.
