Afghanistan is 85/3 in 16 overs (according to the last recieved information) in reply to Bangladesh’s 127 in the third match of Asia Cup 2022 and the spectators are sensing a breath-taking match.
Earlier, winning the toss, Bangladesh captain Shakib AL Hassan elected to bat first.
Bangladesh began to struggle from the very beginning due to the tight bowling of Afghan spinners. At stage Bangladesh were 28/4.
However, some resistance from senior campaigner Mahmudullah and attacking batting of Mossaddek Hossain Shaikat took Bangladesh to 127 for 7. Mossaddek hit 48 of just 31 balls , while Mahmudulah scored 25 form 27.
Afghan spinning duo Rashid khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 3 wickets each.
