The Russian House in Dhaka, in cooperation with the RT Documentary TV channel, concluded the second edition of the international documentary film festival “RT. Doc Time of Our Heroes” at the State University of Bangladesh in Dhaka last Thursday.
The three-day event united viewers and creators of documentary films and aroused great interest among students, teachers, and journalists.
The Russian House in Dhaka Director P Dvoychenkov noted, “The festival not only introduces viewers to important social and historical topics but also inspires young directors to create their own works. We are glad to see such interest in the culture and art of Russia.”
A special guest of the festival, RT. Doc Editor Ekaterina Shubnaya held master classes on creating documentary films for students of the journalism and media communications departments of the State University of Bangladesh and Daffodil International University.
During the festival, films “Donbass Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” (author: Tatyana Borsch), “Donbass Echoes of War” (authors: Ekaterina Kitaytseva and Dmitry Khrustalyov), “We are Russia!” (authors: Ekaterina Kozhakina, Dmitry Khrustalyov and Anton Meshcheryakov), and “Young Guard Reborn” (authors: Ekaterina Kitaitseva and Dmitry Khrustalev) were shown.
After the screening, lively discussions took place, where viewers received answers to their questions.
The event ended with the presentation of certificates to the master class participants.
