Now, the most-talked-about artiste will be seen in a web series titled “Ronglia Kitab”. She will make her debut in web series with the Anam Biswas-directed project.
Pori Moni has played the role of Supti in the web series. In the small town of Barisal, Pradip and Supti’s peaceful life begins to unravel just as they are about to start a new chapter. A false accusation threatens to destroy everything, with Pradip’s past haunting them at every turn. Supti, heavily pregnant, flees with her beloved husband in a fight for survival. Set against this backdrop, “Rongila Kitab” tells a story of love painted in shades of danger and blood.
This dramatic tale is set to premiere on OTT platform hoichoi on 8 November. Mostafiz Nur Imran has played the role of Pradip in the series.
Based on the novel Rongila Kitab by Kingkor Ahsan, the series is an adaptation that brings to life the thrill and emotional intensity of the original story.
The much-awaited trailer of Rongila Kitab was also unveiled in a grand event held on 29 October at the Bangladesh Film Archive in Dhaka. Present at the event were director Anam Biswas, actor Pori Moni and other cast and crew members, adding a unique charm to the occasion.
From the beginning, Pori Moni has been excited about this project, as it marks her debut in a web series. About the series, she said, “Rongila Kitab is my first web series, and I was thrilled about the role Supti from the start. It was a wonderful experience to portray such a character. This story is one of love intertwined with a struggle for survival.”
