Dhaka’s superstar Shakib Khan is well-known for his films, which also find audiences beyond the borders of Bangladesh. In keeping with this trend, Shakib Khan's movie is set to be released in Pakistan. This year, his film “Toofan” made a significant impact, garnering praise both at home and abroad. Now, it is scheduled for release in Pakistan; interestingly, it will be presented in Urdu rather than Bengali. This has been confirmed by the production company, Alpha I.
“Toofan” has secured its censor certificate for release in Pakistan, and the film's posters are now showcased in cineplexes alongside other films from various countries. Producer Shahriar Shakil expressed his excitement by sharing a video of this scene and noted that the movie has been completely dubbed into Urdu. Regarding the release of Shakib's film in Pakistan, Shakil stated, “We will be launching ‘Toofan’ on a large scale in Pakistan from November 1. I can sense the interest among Pakistani audiences for Bengali cinema, and I hope to fulfill that expectation.”
“Toofan” is directed by Raihan Rafi and features Shakib Khan in a dual role. Alongside him are Bangladesh's Nabila and West Bengal's Mimi Chakraborty, as well as notable actors such as Chanchal Chowdhury, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Gazi Rakayet and many more. The film was released in Bangladesh during Eid-ul-Azha and has also premiered in various countries, including the United States, Canada, India, and several Middle Eastern nations.
