The trial of Ramisa murder and rape case is starting on Monday (June 1), and the government expects maximum punishment for the accused in this case, said Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Md. Asaduzzaman.
He said this at the Zilla Parishad check distribution ceremony at Shailkupa Upazila Parishad auditorium in Jhenaidah on Monday morning.
Stating that the opposition has not yet provided any name to the Constitution Amendment Committee, the Law Minister said, "We are waiting."
Asaduzzaman also said that the recommendations that have been received regarding the Human Rights Commission and the Commission on Disappearances Act are being scrutinized.
