A World Bank delegation on Sunday paid a courtesy call on food adviser Ali Imam Majumder at his Secretariat office.
The meeting took place at office room in the secretariat and later the ministry authority shared the information to media through a press meeting.
The delegation led by Practice Manager of WB's South Asian region Agriculture Practice group Tomas Ricardo Rosada Villamar and the Bangladeshi side discussed various bilateral issues during the meeting.
The discussion includes the progress of different projects being implemented in the country under the WB's financial assistance.
Food secretary Md Masudul Hasan and senior officials of the ministry and high officials of the World Bank were present in the meeting.
