BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said, "Not only Sheikh Hasina, but the remaining criminals of the Awami League must also be brought to justice. The elected government will also be committed to bringing Sheikh Hasina and the criminals of the Awami League to trial."
He made these remarks during a conversation with journalists after a roundtable discussion held at a hotel in the capital today (March 5).
He said, "There is no connection between the change of government and the legal process in judicial matters."
"If one believes in an independent judiciary, it is undesirable to create unnecessary debates regarding the election," he added.
