Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has said that if the law is taken into one's own hands, the law and order situation will not be restored.
He made the remarks on Sunday while speaking at an Iftar mahfil in honour of ulamas and orphans in the capital’s Mirpur.
Criticizing the fascist Awami League government, Shafiqur Rahman said that the country’s prisons had been filled with alems and ulamas in the past. On the other hand, dacoits and rapists had moved freely in the society. The notorious Aynaghar had been created in the country. The recent loss could be increased. However, Jamaat-e-Islami doesn’t support any loss.
He also called upon everyone in the society to stand by the orphans.
