BNP Standing Committee member and Khaleda Zia’s personal physician, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain has recently given updates on Begum Khaleda Zia’s physical condition.
“Doctors have visited BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at her residence. Her physical condition is stable at the moment. If the doctors here(in UK) believe that she is in a condition to return home from abroad, only then will she come back to the country.”
He made these remarks to journalists on Tuesday (February 11) after an event in London.
“As you know, Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at London Clinic since January 8. At this moment, she is under the care of doctors at the residence of her eldest son. She is being treated under the supervision of Professor Patrick Kennedy and Jennifer Cross,” said Zahid Hossain
Dr. Zahid stated, “Routine tests are being carried out. Doctors have visited her home. Currently, her health is stable. Please, pray for her recovery ”
He further added, “Her daughter-in-law and her three grandchildren are taking care of her at home. So mentally, she is feeling a lot better. She is under constant medical supervision.”
