The Police Headquarters (PHQ) has said that strict action will be taken if anti-social elements threaten any peace-loving citizen, and strict legal action will be taken against them.
In a statement, the PHQ said that it has recently come to the attention of the police that anti-social elements are issuing various types of threats to people from different classes and professions in the country. “Making any kind of threat to any person is a crime,” it stated.
“If any person is a victim of such a threat, they are requested to immediately inform the national emergency service 999 or the nearest police station,” it added.
Bangladesh Police is committed to ensuring the safety and security of every citizen of the country and maintaining law and order.
