Awami League (AL) is now a dead bod and there is no point in dragging it out, said Gono Odhikar Parishad president and former DUCSU VP Nurul Haque Nur.
He said this at a rally organized by Gono Odhikar Parishad at Pakundia Sadar Eidgah ground in Kishoreganj on Saturday afternoon.
He said, “Gono Odhikar Parishad is working tirelessly to build a Bangladesh of dreams, free from discrimination, riots and clash, and free from occupation and extortion, along with the young generation. The students and the public have removed the autocratic murderer Hasina government from power through a mass uprising. Now she is sitting in India and making various conspiracies against the country.”
He urged the students and the public to be vigilant against all conspiracies.
The rally, chaired by Pakundia Upazila Constituent Assembly president Shahidul Islam, was addressed by central committee general secretary Rashed Khan, senior vice president Faruk Hasan, vice president Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, joint general secretary Anisur Rahman Sumon, media affairs coordinator Abu Hanif, Senior joint general secretary Hasan Al Mamun, and others.
