The government has launched ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ all over the country following an attack on students and people in Gazipur on Friday night.
In response to the incident, a high-level meeting was held on Saturday at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where law enforcement agencies discussed measures to maintain law and order and bring the perpetrators to justice.
As a result, the meeting was decided that a coordinated operation involving joint forces would start from Saturday across the country including Gazipur.
On Saturday, the information was revealed in a release signed by the Home Ministry's Director (Public Relations) Faisal Hasan.
Further details regarding ‘Operation Devil Hunt' will be disclosed in a press briefing on Sunday.
It is mentionable that the Gazipur attack, allegedly carried out by terrorists loyal to a fallen autocratic regime, left several individuals critically injured on Friday night.
