Sheikh Hasina responsible for overall situation: Jamaat Ameer

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has blamed instigating remarks of ousted Sheikh Hasina for the country's overall situation.

He came up with the observation through a verified Facebook page at 11:46 pm on Wednesday.

In his status, Dr Shafiqur Rahman wrote, "The fugitive fascist Sheikh Hasina's provocation is responsible for the overall situation. It should be remembered that Sheikh Hasina never holds the people of Bangladesh in her heart. This is her abhorrent nature."

He earlier, in a separate statement, urged the countrymen to remain calm without incitement.
