The interim government has revoked the passports of 97 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and members of law enforcement agencies, due to their involvement in enforced disappearances and the massacre that took place in July-August.
Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Mazumder, disclosed this information at a press conference held at the Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday.
According to CA’s press wing, the passports of 97 individuals have been revoked for various crimes. Among them, 75 were involved in the July massacre and 22 of them were involved in enforced disappearance.
However, the names of these individuals are yet to be disclosed.
