BNP central leader and former minister Advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu vowed that all murders and acts of injustice across Bangladesh, including those committed during the July anti-discrimination movement, would face justice. He emphasized that no one, including Sheikh Hasina, would be exempt from accountability.
Dulu made the remarks on Monday while attending a prayer gathering and winter clothes distribution event in Tebaria Hat, a suburb of Natore, marking the 10th anniversary of the martyrdom of Chhatra Dal leader Rakib and Swechchhasebak Dal leader Raihan.
The BNP said that all the anti-Awami people in the country must remain united. Nothing can be achieved by excessive violence. Everyone must come together to form the country. “In the coming days, an elected government will come through a fair election. Under that government, Bangladesh will move forward beautifully. That government will judge all the killings and injustices in this country.”
“We all have to play the role of responsible citizens. We must be careful not to allow the autocratic regime to fall prey to any temporary greed, lust, or hatred,” he said.
The BNP leader also said, “Sitting in our neighboring country, the autocratic Hasina and all her evil associates have continued to conspire to make Bangladesh ineffective. Therefore, all of us must rise above party affiliation and play a responsible role for the country. We must take all decisions with a strong hand and intelligence. Otherwise, the autocratic Hasina, who is involved in conspiracies, will make various evil attempts with the help of neighboring countries. They will make evil attempts to destabilize the country step by step.”
