Bus driver held over deadly Mawa expressway crash

RAB personnel on Saturday arrested the driver of the bus that a day earlier killed six people in an accident at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza of Dhaka-Mawa expressway.

RAB media wing chief Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous said that the driver Md Nuruddin was arrested from Nayaranganj’s Siddhirganj area, where he went into hiding following the deadly accident.

Five people, including a child, were killed and several others injured after a bus hit a waiting car at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza of the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in South Keraniganj on Friday.
