Sarjis Alam, General Secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation and a key coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, accused, "Agents of Hasina, lurking in the Secretariat, have burned files of various misdeeds."
He made this remark in a post on his verified Facebook account today (Dec 26).
In the post, which included several photos of the Secretariat damaged by fire, Sarjis wrote, "Among those who were loyal to the Awami League over the past 16 years, a significant portion consisted of these bureaucrats. It was through their support that ousted Hasina consolidated her power in the country."
He continued, "When revolutionaries have focused on Hasina's wrongdoings, theft, looting, and corruption, and investigations have begun, her agents hiding in the Secretariat burned the files of these misdeeds."
"To reform the state, we must first uproot the entrenched bureaucracy and administrative sycophants who are still hiding. There is no time left for warnings."
In the post, he tagged three advisers, stating, "Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud, Mahfuj Alam vai, embrace your revolutionary roles, the entire nation stands with you."
