Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan presented his credentials to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari.
He presented his credentials as Bangladesh High Commissioner to the President of Pakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan is a diplomat from the 20th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) cadre. He joined the Bangladesh Foreign Service in 2001 and currently serving there as the director general of the Foreign Service Academy, Dhaka.
Earlier, he was serving as the director general of the West Asia Branch in the ministry. During his diplomatic career, he served in various positions at the Bangladesh Missions in Jeddah, London, Moscow and Abu Dhabi.
Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan was most recently the Consul General of Bangladesh in Dubai. He was appointed as the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan last July.
