It was anticipated that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president, Faruque Ahmed, would attend the NCL T20 final in Sylhet on Tuesday. However, he missed the 12:30 PM flight designated for Sylhet, reports the Daily Sun.
Interestingly, board director Fahim Sinha managed to board that flight and reach Sylhet on time.
Given the significance of the final, it was expected that the BCB president would make it to the event by any means necessary.
After missing the initial flight, Faruque Ahmed planned to take the 3:30 PM flight. Unfortunately, this flight was delayed as well, ultimately preventing him from traveling to Sylhet.
As a result, BCB boss could not attend the NCL T20 final, marking a significant absence in the event.
