The Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the Cyber Security Ordinance was discussed in the meeting of the Advisory Council. The draft of the ordinance has been given final approval.
He said this at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.
Shafiqul Alam said the Zakir Ahmed Khan Committee had given recommendations for the promotion-deprived and retired government officials. In light of that, a review committee was formed under the leadership of the Cabinet Secretary. 764 people could be promoted, according to the recommendation. Among them, 119 people were recommended for the post of Secretary, 41 people for Grade One, 528 for the post of Additional Secretary, 72 for the post of Joint Secretary and four for the post of Deputy Secretary.
He said that a one-time allocation of approximately Tk 42 crore has been approved as the estimated cost for this.
He also said that a final decision has been taken regarding the July-August Memorial Museum in Ganabhaban.
Chief Advisor's Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir and Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi were present at the press conference, among others.
