Sarjis Alam, the general secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, has been assigned to a new responsibility as he has become the chief organizer of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee.
Jatiya Nagorik Committee announced the assignment of this responsibility to Sarjis Alam through a press release on Monday.
The notification was signed by Committee convener Nasiruddin Patwari and member secretary Akhtar Hossain. As a result, Sarjis Alam has now joined the expanded structure of the Committee.
In this regard, Sarjis Alam wrote on his Facebook, "I have got a new responsibility in Jatiya Nagorik Committee. I will try to work with my best, keeping the country and its people in mind, InshaAllah."
Sarjis Alam was included as a central member of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee a few days ago.
