Eight more dengue patients died and 994 others were hospitalised in the past 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
The dengue death toll has risen to 407 so far this year.
According to a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the total number of dengue cases rose to 78,595 across the country.
In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
